My first blog entry

I have been following my friends blogs and did not want to be left out so I am starting my own blog. not sure who is going to follow the my ramblings but I guess I will find out.

A little about us.

I am a 37 year old single mother of a 12 year old boy with ADHD/ Bipolar. needless to say there is always something going on here, between Paul and my neighbors there is sometimes a little to much drama here. I am currently looking for a job. I am babysitting to bring in a little extra cash I love to babysit. I enjoy scrapbooking, movies, sarcasm, musical theater and friends, I really have great friends and I am very thankful for them. I love to scapbook and make cards. I have been going to kickboxing on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, I am sure that is a sight to see. but I do attend class, flail around and sweat alot the people in class smile alot not sure if they are nice or stifling a laugh...I choose to believe they are nice. :)

My son Paul has many intrests. He is a very smart kid, to smart if you ask me. He tends to use his intellengence for evil instead of good. He is training for his black belt test in Karate this summer. 5:45 am to 9am 6 days a week. he did this last year but let his attitude get in the way and was not invited to test. He is doing better this year ( we are one week in) and he ran his 3 miles in 40:07. the goal is 30 min. he has 2 months to get the 10 min off. last year after 45 min they had to send a car to go get him from the 3 mile course in the neighborhood behind the karate school. huge improvement! Paul is also a Boy Scout, loves camping, video games, arguing ( he could argue with a wall), live theater, He loves the young men program at church, he has some awesome leaders. He is also has a big brother from Big Brothers and Sisters. His favorite thing to do with his Big Brother is Play Chess at Oasis Coffee house. Even though I am a single mom he has alot of male role models to look up to. I am thankful for that.
